- Ley 9 (1984) modified by Law 8 (1993) – License to Practice Law in Panama
- Executive Decree 468 (1994) – 1st Know Your Client rules for Registered Agents; modified by Executive Decree 124 (2006)
- Law 47 (2013) and Law 18 (2015) – Bearer Shares to be placed into Custody
- Law 2 (2011) – Lawyers’ know your client (KYC)
- Law 23 (2015) that creates the Intendence to Supervise non-financial persons
