Fees & Costs for the Reforestation Investor Visa (non-immigrant):
Our fees have been established, taking into account the rules established in
the
Panama Law Society Rates of Minimum Professional Fees for Lawyers.
NOTICE:
As of July 1, 2010 our sales tax (ITBMS) has increased to 7% and applies to all
services offered by law firms, and will be charged accordingly to clients.
*$60,000.00 or more invested in a reforestation company

Because of the Repatriation Deposits, we anticipate that for a couple, the total cost is around $4,200.00, including the fees
& expenses.
Please note that the out-of-pocket expenses are based on the assumption that
the client will obtain all authenticated documents in their country of origin,
and that we will not be required to send courier packages or documents to the
Panamanian Consulate of that country. If we are required to send documents
back to that country of origin, please note that the following additional
charges will be incurred:

Depending on the consulate, the prices for authentication
vary. The authentication may be anywhere from $30.00 per document up
to $100.00 per document. Where possible, we would try to use
Apostille, if it is less expensive. |

Please note that in year five it will be necessary to renew the
paperwork again. The same costs will apply. If you renew this
visa twice, you will no longer be eligible to reapply. This visa will not
grant permanent residence or the right to apply for naturalisation.
